Almost done the hard stuff and now it was my turn to sort out some gear however, that was a pretty short one as I tend not to do stuff before it is needed after returning from our camping otherwise there is duplication and confusion.
We did have a pleasant afternoon coffee with Rob and Margaret as we chatted for a long time about the trip and some of the events and places. This obviously stretched all our aging memory banks, however, I decided that a ‘retrospective’ thought process would be useful although it would not be realistic to pick the ‘best’ place or moment, but it would be more useful to try and pick a ‘top five’ or similar.
It felt good that we had managed to survive for almost nine months in a constantly moving room about half the size of our home bedroom!
Rob and I cased the eateries in Tewantin to find a suitable spot for a farewell dinner tomorrow night and decided on the local hotel as they had a good menu and wasn’t too expensive.
